I Started This Post Then My Internet Connection Died!
"My head is still in the clouds! It was one of the best vacations that I've ever taken. (And, yes I have seen my fair share of interesting and exotic adventures despite what I tell people about me not getting out much.) Everything about the experience was perfect! Everyone in Bethlehem and at Musikfest was friendly, outgoing and helpful."
I saved the passage as a draft about a week ago but never finished it because I was having a lot of trouble with my Internet connection....Now my Internet is fixed and I forget where I was going with it....
Definitely, I am still processing my experience. Yes, I had fun and got to relax. However, it was also a meaningful way beyond that...By the time I returned home, I had figured out the answers to some aspects of my life with which I am dissatisfied. It isn't in my nature to believe in stuff that I can't figure out using the scientific method, but I can't help thinking that the bells caused me to have an awakening or religious experience of some kind. Unfortunately, I can't go into more details in a public forum like this... Anyway, unless I act on my insights, they don't matter...Half the battle in problem solving may be understanding what's wrong and how to fix it but the other, harder half, is getting off one's butt and taking action.....

Despite the spiritual aspects of my first 35 Cast in Bronze concerts, I had an enormous amount of fun! For example, on the last night after the rain stopped and I had brought three "Ribbot Frog" musical instruments from the drum maker vendor at Musikfest that jammed with Frank and one or more of the younger DellaPennas each night....The audience was starting to fill up way before the last show but it was cold. I handed a frog to the fans sitting on either side of me- Charis and Desi. I decided on the spur of the momment to announce the 3 of us as the opening act for CIB. Of course, all we did was make random noise. At the end of our "show," I paraphrased the parting words offered by Frank at the end of each set. "If you can't live without our music and I can't imagine why you couldn't....I have good news for you. We don't have any CDs available!" LOL! People were taking pictures of the 3 of us. I am afraid that when I least expect it, they will surface on the Internet. I didn't know that I was such a comedian. Although Frank had no idea what I was up to (at least, I hope not), I made him sign my largest Frog. Check out the picture of my frogs at the top of this post!
Next week it's off to Pittsburgh for another adventure in one of my old haunts! This week I have to do mundane stuff like clean the house.
